We teach students in Years 10–12, supporting them from the foundations of senior English through to Preliminary HSC and HSC preparation.

For Year 10 students, the focus is on building the reading, writing and analytical habits needed for a confident transition into Year 11. From there, our teaching becomes increasingly focused on close textual analysis, essay technique, critical argument and the demands of HSC assessment.

We keep class sizes deliberately small so that every student gets attention, but big enough that the discussion stays interesting.

Our core programme is built around the NSW English syllabus. For school-specific or text-specific classes, we tailor the curriculum to align with your child's assessment schedule so what they're learning with us directly supports what they're doing at school.

All classes are in person at our centre in Chatswood. English is a subject that thrives on conversation, debate, and thinking out loud. That's hard to replicate through a screen. We want students in a room together, working through ideas face to face.

For Term 4, all students receive eight weekly two-hour Tutorials, with small-group classes for deep textual work, discussion and writing. Families who choose Mentorship also receive four one-hour individual mentoring sessions across the eight-week term for targeted feedback on writing and school assessments.

That's exactly who we work with. Most of our students are already capable in English: they're not failing, they're just not being pushed. They come to us because they want the kind of expert-led teaching, feedback, and challenge they can't always get in a classroom of 25+ students. The difference between a Band 5 and a Band 6 is rarely about working harder; it's about learning to think and write with more precision.
